Brief
This site is for Hospital Emergency Response Coalition. We worked with the main coordinator at Franciscan St. Margaret Hospital. The site’s goal was to create a home for all emergency personnel in Chicagoland and NWI to coordinate information, documents, and resources.
The project was part of our experiential learning course at Purdue.
I was the team leader of one of four groups, each consisting of seven students. I managed the group’s progress and delegated tasks throughout the semester. On the design side, I created the main template for the site, while the other members each created 1 or 2 pages. I assembled these pages and made sure everything was functional and met our goals. On the development side, a team member and I completed field interviews with the client. I completed our competitive analysis, presentation, and assembled the project binder. Each student in the course designed logos for the client’s consideration, and my submissions were accepted.
In the end, our group’s website was selected to be used by the client, however, the site was never used.
